Three Man Murder in St James Since Start of The New-Year

Further reports a man was shot and killed along a section of the Railway Lane on Thursday morning.

Reports are that on Tuesday, 27-year-old Nicholas Clarke was murdered outside of his home in Mount Salem as he reportedly went to fetch some water at approximately 10:45 pm. Just a day prior, British national, Sean Patterson, who is said to have been visiting the island for the first time, was gunned down at a villa in the parish.

In a video posted on the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s social media pages on Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Fitz Bailey, who is in charge of the crime and security, said “our investigation so far has theorised that the murder was a contract killing that emanated from Britain.”

DCP Bailey maintained that Patterson’s killing is not connected to any activities in Jamaica.

Further reports a man was shot and killed along a section of the Railway Lane on Thursday morning.

The deceased man has been identified as 37-year-old Jermaine Cormack, otherwise called ‘Theo’, a sales representative of a Sun Valley Road, Glendevon address in the parish.

Information is that Cormack was sitting along the road when he was attacked by gunmen armed who opened fire at him.

The police were summoned and on arrival, Cormack was found lying in a pool of blood suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the upper body and head.
