Actor Lance Reddick Died at Age 60

Lance Solomon Reddick who starred in the Amazon series “Bosch” and had recently branched out into video games like Horizon Zero Dawn and  the Destiny franchise, died at age 60.

The actor who gained fame playing a police commander on the Baltimore crime drama “The Wire” and later had prominent roles in the “John Wick.”

Lance Reddick was born in Baltimore, Maryland and attended Friends School of Baltimore. As a teenager, he studied music at the peabody preparatory institute and later attended the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music where he earn a bachelor of music degree. He then move to Boston, Massachusetts before attending the Yale School of drama where he received a master of fine arts degree in 1994.

Reddick's career trived over three decades and included memorable performance in the television series such as lost, OZ, and Resident Evil. Reddick also lent his voice to video game and characters such as Martin Hatch in Quantum Break and Horizon Forbidden west, and Commander Zavala in the Destiny franchise.

Cause of Death

According to his representative, Lance Reddick passed away suddenly on March 17, 2023 from natural causes. Lance Reddick was working on several projects at his death, including a new version of The Caine Mutiny Court Martial.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie and children Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick. Reddick will always be remember for his talents and contribution to the entertainment industry.
